Atrocious Business

Sent money for a hat Via Paypal in April 2016. Right from the off it seemed dodgy as 2 minutes later the guy emails me asking if i could pay via 'Venmo' instead...no chance.... 3 months go by without hearing a thing, i contact him to ask what's happening, and excuse after excuse is all you get from this guy. Don't expect to receive a hat. Thankfully having paid with paypal, i was able to start up a dispute of non received goods. The owner then starts telling me how if i cancel the dispute he will get the hat out to me 'you have my word' he said ... well after doing some research on google, and seeing the other reviews of people being ripped off, not a chance i was going to 'take his word' the 10 days of the dispute ended, and paypal have refunded the Money. Now he's trying to tell me the hat is finished and ready for shipping... Does he really think i'm that *** i'd send him the money now ... I don't believe the hat is ready for shipping whatsoever Stay away from this clown and his *** company

I see a lot of people complaining but I read that people have receive their orders . I myself have ordered 3/2 In the last two eight months and gotten them . No on scammed me like people are saying they took about eight weeks and two other of my fiends one of them over seas got her"s as well .. I feel some people are causing a bigger issue or a personal bashing instead of being a adult about whateve issue it might be .. All I see are people's being very childish and bashing and if you're religious in anyway this isn't the way to be in anyway to bash someone or their business it's better to personally work out a situation or figure out a solution without bashing because when you bash it just causes negative and evil and that will turn back on yourself .. Plus how would you feel if your name was on a blog like this you wouldn't feel great I'm not defending anyone I'm just expressing a view of a human attacking him of a human one we already have enough going on in this world why do some like this that just increases more negative in this world ..

I went to American Made Outlaw the end of April last year. Ordered a hat and sent 220 dollars for it. I was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks. After 12 weeks i messaged, with no response. I then filed a dispute with pay pal. Finally got a response from American Made Outlaw. And my hat would arrive in 6 to 8 weeks. It has now been 10 months and no hat. I have sent messages and emails with no response. I have also been removed or unable to message or comment on his facebook page. Pretty sure i will not be getting a hat and out 220 dollars. I just tried his website and it seems to be down or being deleted.

The latest from this pos is he is a new owner and doesn't have any records and pay pal won't help so I'm sol. My idea is if we can physically find this turds residence if some of us he ripped off pool evidence of our purchases and present it to the district attorney in his area maybe they will prosicute as it shows evidence of fraud...if only one person contacts them they going to say it is civil...I am also contacting the us district attorney...lets get this pos!

Would be more then happy to make a criminal complaint with his states attorney generals office for fraud..

since he's using the Internet for the fraud I think that makes it a federal crime... I'll do some digging and get his so called buisness address..keep me updated

I've been reading this Blog its "disgusting" not truth telling how people have to lower themselves bashing another human / Company. like we all have a perfect life!! Now getting the my story I have ordered seven custom hats from American Made Outlaw. They Create some of the Coolest most incredible cowboy hat's ever They all have been shipped USPS to my House some have been three weeks others have been longer . When I have order each one that I ordered looked just like what I ordered not one has ever looked bad .I have two other friends that ordered hats in Canada. I am ordering another two Custom Cowboy hats plus some jeans from this Company because they create what I want and what I pay for . Lets be real here and all be truth teller's. I know four people that are on this Blog that are not truth tellers on this bull *** "blog" that have gotten what they ordered and they wear the hats all the time . These people that are stating they never got what they ordered these people are lying about the real facts are. But we believe what we read . So I'm on here to set the truth But these people refuse to be honest. Tell the *** truth and delete the blog that they created but instead they would rather make people believe that this company done them wrong . The ugliness is wrong what people put out in the world . etc. etc etc., and from the ones who actually get there items I understand they are very pleased with your work.. but are displeased due to the time frame it took to received the items and all the b.s. they had to raise to get you to actually sit down, create, and mail the items to the buyers..

I don't know you story but I can see your one heck of a artist and have great potential in your work.. I don't know why you tell people there items will be ready in 4-8 weeks.. when you know the items will not.. Im not sure if your the only artist who does the work but instead of telling people what they want to hear on the delivery date- tell them the truth..

and if you get behind on your work . keep in contact with them and let them know the time frame .. Maybe you need to hire someone to help you design the items to make you sure you get them done and mailed.. Maybe you get over whelmed with you orders and physical cant meet supply and demand..

so you start making excuses, not returning calls etc. .. and you just fall behind.. sometimes way behind..

I got screwed to!

I ordered a hat from Johnathon in July 2015. Within mins of my $269 Payment went through on Paypal, Johnathon calls me very excited and offering me rushed delivery of only 3 weeks instead of 6 weeks for an extra fee. I turned him down thanking him. Its 9 months later and no hat with little faith it will ever arrive. Johnathon has strung me along with excuses. I have called Paypal to dispute the charge and there is only a 180 day grace period which they can do anything. I feel Paypal has some responsibility in this due to they being a part of this scam. Anyone reading this dispute your charge within 180 days or your out of luck. Correction if your reading this don't order a hat because this is a scam. I suspect Johnathon takes our money and puts it up his nose immediately. I did suspect something wrong because he has no phone number or address or his name on his website or social media sites. Johnathon's phone number is 714-322-****. He reads my texts immediately after I send them so I suggest we all call him 24/7 and drive him crazy.

Just curious , did he request that you send payment through western union or something similar?? He does that so you cant request your money back when he never deliverers the hats ..

Ordered and paid for hat early July. . 480$ ..2-3 weeks promised it would be done. . Come late august nothing. . Finally he contacted me after i called my credit card company and pay pal. .they reversed the payment i made. .he texted saying the hat was almost done..that i would have the hat 1st of sept..i called my cc company back believing jonathan would send hat. . End of Sept nothing. . Jonathan gave several excuses. . Family emergency had to go to California. . And the last one. . Someone broke n2 his shop and stole his air brushes and he chased them ..and they broke his arm. . Now he's got the money back. He won't answer texts..calls. . Or emails from his web page . Stay away from this buisness. I'm n process of contacting the attorney generals office n nevada and California. .this is not right on what he's doing by stealing peoples money by fraud. We'll see how much longer he's n buisness after the attorneys go after him

Burned by American Made Outlaw

ordered a hat June 2015, after a month after not receiving hat.... was told takes up to 9 wks....contacted him again after 4 months was told his account was hacked and he was going to make sure I got my hat within two weeks... Checked again before Christmas ...get it to you right after new year....I am guessing this guy is a pos and I'm out 268.00, Please be warned get this *** out so he isn't ripping more people off... also pay-pal didn't help either as this purchase was over 6 months old because I kept believing this pos was going to send my hat

This pos Jonathan took my order in September 2015 by PayPal 269 for a hat then called me all nice told me PayPal was costing him to much refunded my money and wanted western union right to him so I did believing this scam lieing pos. Then said send me 312.50 will have my hat in 2 to 3 weeks nothing got my money now going on 4 months won't even answer call what a coward .he lies and Says its will be this week and nothing I don't want the piece of *** hat no more the *** can stick it up his liying scam *** hope you don't fall for this scam artist I'm taking this pos to court and suing him bottom line don't get RIPPED OFF like I did people like this should be in jail !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only good reviews here is written by Jon himself (Owner of so called American Made Outlaw).. Good people paid for there hats but never get them.. Now Jon has lowered himself to replying to peoples complaints saying how they got there hats and how good they are.. Trust me only a hand full of people ever get there hats.. and the replies saying I retract my statements blah blah is actually Jon writing them himself.. I cant believe facebook or paypal has not suspended his account yet.. You have been warned!!!

I spoke to Jonathin and this was a misunderstanding. He is working on both of my hats and I am looking forward to them looking as awesome as the first hat we ordered that was absolutely beautiful

I ordered a hat last year and it took 8 months to finally get it then the size was wrong. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and ordered 2 more in March 2015 that were promised to be ready by April for my wife's birthday, but lo and behold NOTHING. He has stopped returning my texts and phone calls and I received the same threats on Facebook, plus now I can no longer send private messages since I have been blocked. $500 might not sound like a lot of money to some, but losing $500 to this scam artist feels like $10,000. I hope you find resolution with your lawyer because I can't afford to hire one right now. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they responded that the business did not exist. Western Union can't give me the full address of where the money was sent because it was more than 90 days ago
